You are correct about the long exposure shots. Just to give you an idea of how random it is, I usually get ONE photo that is good to use from EACH ONE roll of film

Just shows that its not an easy art form. Its like playing with light, but being blind.

nice concert stuff, i like smoke on the water. only problem with long shutter and flash is that is so unpredictable...but very cool stuff. i used to scream and play bass in a band so it brings back good memories. thanks for the favorite on one of mine to...
